How's June been for you? In fact, how's the whole of 2020 so far gone for you and your business?This week marks the halfway point of 2020 and now's the time to grab a latte/cuppa/smoothie (insert your drink of choice here) and look back at what you've achieved, whether your goals and focus have changed and get intentional about what to focus on for the rest of the year.
I'm Mrs Check In: I check into my goals weekly on my CEO Friday, I set my 90 Day Goals four times a year, and spend 30 mins every June having a quick Mid Year Review + Reset. So I thought this year I'd share some prompts with you to help you do yours.
- Block out 30mins -> 1 hour in your diary
- Get yourself into the right mindset; make sure you're not clockwatching or worrying about something in the back of your mind
- Be really honest with yourself or it won't work
- Be as reflective as possible. The prompts I share may open up other questions where you need to delve deeper
By taking a minute to pause and look back, you'll be better placed to plan going forwards and make sure you’re focusing on the right things (and less on the things that don't serve you!).
Think back to last December - are you where you thought you'd be at this point? Have you achieved your goals or have they changed?
For many of us the circumstances of the year so far have had a major impact on our business; you may be well behind your goals, you may have pivoted in a whole new direction and be flourishing. Whatever it is, now’s a great time to reassess the direction you want to go in for the rest of 2020.
